Publisher Description
As teachers strive to engage their students in solving real world mathematics problems, they need new resources that bring into the classroom problems that are relevant. Increasingly, access to the Internet is providing teachers with a potentially powerful but as yet unfamiliar resource. In this paper, I consider how teachers can make use of this electronic tool as an instructional, rather than decorative or glitzy, resource, emphasising the mathematical scenarios uniquely available to students through the Internet.
