Publisher Description

INTRODUCTION The idea of connecting medical librarians and quality health information resources with personal health record (PHR) consumers was the rationale behind the formation of the Medical Library Association (MLA)/ National Library of Medicine (NLM) Joint Electronic Personal Health Record Task Force. Among other tasks, the group was charged with identifying key providers of PHRs. Findings reported here ensued from the work of this task force.
