Amazing friends to lovers romance
I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This was an amazing friends to lovers romance. It was an extremely well written story that was really emotional. It was my first book in the Wilder series but I didn’t feel any difficulties relating to the characters or the greater storyline and though I will probably go back and read the first books because I loved this one so much, it really did work perfectly as a standalone.
I loved the dynamic between Elijah and Maddie, from the very first email exchange I felt they had something special and the rest of the story just solidified it. Of course it wasn’t all smooth sailing but it was just such a wonderful story and I loved it from start to finish.
