Dabbling in art

When the author was 92 years old and living in a flat it was necessary to downsize the space previously occupied by his scribblings, holiday scrap books and paintings. This led to certain feelings of sadness at the loss of memories and activities held dear. To alleviate this state of affairs, he decided to use his computer and the Apple software called iBook Author to produce a book which might be of some use in the future.  In particular he had in mind his offspring and other dabblers who might be inspired  to rediscover the joy and pleasure of expressing themselves in whatever art form they might come to prefer. The author dabbles mainly in watercolour with a tendency towards depicting the weather and its effects on landscapes and the great outdoors.
