Ernest Ray Willis v. State Texas

Appellant, Ernest Ray Willis, was convicted of capital murder for the death of Elizabeth Beleu, who died in an intentionally set house fire. Tex. Penal Code Ann. ? 19.03. The jury returned affirmative findings to the special issues submitted pursuant to Tex. Code Crim. Proc. Ann. art. 37.01(b). Appellant was thereafter sentenced to death.
