In a hotel in the depths of New England, a vampire queen finds me and asks me to arrange a miracle for her undead uncle.

But I end up dragging my sorry self halfway across the continent, looking for a myth. Except someone else wants to find it too, and we end up in a race.

There are more monsters to fight, and battles that are nothing to do with beasts or enemies, and at the end of it all, a terrible consequence I have no idea how to live with.
