Frog Brothers and Friends

When you are to look at Wiley Toad and Willy Frog, you wouldn’t be able to guess that they are brothers: Frog Brothers to be exact. 


Wiley Toad has short legs, warts and a round, brown body; Willy Frog is sleeker, with long legs and a green, shiny body that is great for diving and thriving in the water. 


One lives in the fields above the water, while the other chooses the local lake to call home and lives under a lily pad. 


However, in Wiley Toad or Frog, the new children’s book from author Joyce Kindel Morris, the two are brothers for life and enjoy spending time together in the water or on adventures learning new things. 


The book presents readers with a compilation of three stories shared between the brothers, as they learn about situations involving bullying, loving family and taking steps to be a better person for God. 

 


Wiley Toad or Frog begins the series with the introduction of Wiley Toad and his brother, Willy Frog. Even though they are different, both see the good in one another and that God created them with a purpose in mind; especially if it means not becoming a fox’s lunch. 


In The Frog Brothers Meet Bully Frog, the brothers encounter a menancing frog named Bully Frog who enjoys causing smaller frogs to fear him. Yet, things change for Bully Frog when he tries to push the Frog Brothers around.


The last story, The Frog Brothers Meet the Bee Brothers, educates the Frog Brothers and readers alike on the best way to behave with others and being a good friend to all. 


As young readers explore the adventures of Wiley Toad and Willy Frog, they will also learn how to be strong, moral people and what it means to be loved and purposed by God.
