Totally hooked
This is the second book of the original version of The Last Tritan, not to be confused with Insatiable Corruption. It is just as good as when I first read it, probably even better, as Myra has grown as an author since then.
We begin right after Captain Asher Rawlings discovered and claimed Mila as his priestess. Now Mila not only has to keep Asher at bay, which is pretty hard when they are tied together, she also has to navigate in the political game. I love the heated battles between them. Truly epic, especially as he is slowly making Mila realize that they are actually two sides of the same coin. But the road is never easy, and Mila makes some rash decisions which has some dire consequences for what is yet to come.
I can’t wait to read the next part. As I have read some of what is to come years ago, the wait will be well worth it.
