Fruitfulness

In this 1900 publication, Émile Zola uses a story to explore the idea of social religion. This book is the first in what was to be a four-book series, Quatre Vangile, in which Zola discusses the four cardinal principles of human existence. Zola died before completing the fourth book, Justice.
