A missing ship. A desperate father. A threat beyond every world they know.
Danny Andela has spent decades living with the aftermath of an empire's fall. She has debts to pay, a parawolf to keep happy, and unfinished business with Gabriel Dalton—the man she has waited nearly thirty years to have back.
Then Dalton arrives with terrible news. His son Mace is aboard a frontier exploration ship that has stopped answering calls.
Danny knows what silence can mean in deep space. With Dalton and Mace's mother, she boards the Supreme Lythion, the extraordinary ship whose intelligence is as stubborn as its former captain. Finding one missing crew should be a job their old skills can handle.
But the trail leads beyond the familiar worlds, where the ship's empty corridors hold evidence of something far worse than an accident. Someone is taking people. And Danny's rescue mission has just drawn their attention.
To bring Mace home, Danny will need the friends she once trusted with her life—including some who have become strangers. Because whatever is waiting on the frontier has no intention of letting them leave.
Galactic Thunder begins Cameron Cooper's Iron Hammer series: character-driven space opera with dangerous discoveries, sentient starships and a fiercely loyal, thoroughly argumentative found family. It continues Danny Andela's adventures after the Imperial Hammer series.

3.0: Planetary Parlay
4.0: Waxing War
5.0: Ruled Out
6.0: Stranger Stars
7.0: Federal Force
8.0: Redline Rebels

Praise for Galactic Thunder:
I found myself unable to just stop reading at just anyplace even at 2:00 a.m.
IT IS THAT GOOD and I'm really pleased to have found this author!!!
This one is rife with conflict and fall out from the Imperial Hammer series. And more parawolves!
This is the beginning of a series, so while it contains a full story arc (there isn't a cliff hanger) it is also building a larger arc and that last line is a dozy!
I highly recommend this book and to enrich your experience with the characters I would definitely read the Imperial Hammer series first.
Intriguing and in my opinion the best Danny book yet. This writer gets better and better with each new book.
