Ghost Town

Disrespecting vampires is never a good idea and killing one of them is unthinkable. So when Claire kills one, while protecting her friend Eve, she is sentenced to help her crazy boss Myrnin repair the machine they have been building to protect Morganville vampires. If she fails to find a solution it could lead to her death.
Whislt working on the machine she discovers a way to amplify vampire mental powers, but this apparent success has an unexpected consequence: people inside the town begin to slowly forget who they are - even the vampires. Soon, the town's little memory problem has turned into a full-on epidemic. Now Claire needs to figure out a way to pull the plug on her experiment - before she forgets how to save Morganville...
