God Meets the World

Exodus 19, 16 On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning, with a thick cloud over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast. Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain
On that predestined day at Mount Sinai, God came out of the clouds to meet the world. He wanted to introduce himself and give over the most important rules ever written; The Ten Commandments.

Exodus 19:5

Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, youll be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.

The covenant is the Ten Commandments which were written on the Tablets of the covenant. God told Moses that if the Israelites keep the covenant, they can become a kingdom of priests in order to teach the covenant to the whole world.
