Ever since she was a little girl, Margaret Berryton had one constant in her life. Every year, on the same day, she would travel to Devonshire to visit her grandmother, Lydia. Margaret always treasured her visits... until one year, when Lydia has an unwelcome visitor: a young man named Jacob Billingsley. When Margaret meets him, Jacob is rude, uncouth, bad-mannered... and certainly not a gentleman!
