Hell's Canyon #90

Rage has always wanted to run a river. What better place could she find close to home than Hell’s Canyon. Of course, she has signed them up before she asks Sergeant Jones if he would like to go.
They arrive at the sign in place, and she has them on different rafts. She in on #1 and Jones is on #3 raft. They are to be strangers on the river. Before they leave on the rafting trip, a fellow gets sick and cannot go. By chance, an extra rider is available even though the trip was full. Jones suspects something is wrong. Can the Colonel figure out what is a foot?
Everything is going well, until the guides offer a small taste of a level V rapid. A piece of the river is high in one location. Of course Rage and Jones can handle it, plus five others wish to go. The replacement for the sick fellow wants to go also. The #3 raft is out-fitted for a more dangerous ride. Jones finds something he does not like on the raft. He does not want to use the raft for anything but how does he stop it from being used?
Rage decks, with a straight left, the substitute person for the fellow that got sick and ends up in a fight.
The Colonel is having a jet fighter fire a missile into the canyon in the middle of the night where the rafters are. Does he have a squadron of fighters ready to attack the entire canyon?
What has Rage gotten Jones into?
