Audrey's boyfriend has just broken up with her for the twelfth time in their nine-year relationship - and this time, to her horror, it looks like it's sticking.

Dan became an unlikely self-help influencer overnight, when a video of him getting dumped went viral. Now he has his own podcast, a hot young wife, and a 'Dr Dan' chatbot modelled on him that people all over the world come to for advice. OK, he may not have any therapy qualifications - but if he's helping people, what's the harm?

When Audrey starts chatting to Dr Dan, she's hoping he'll help her get back together with her ex. But as she becomes more reliant on his limitless attentions, the lines between what's real and what's fake begin to blur - and this online relationship begins to have very offline consequences...
