I Can't Make This Up

Introduction

Some moments stay with you long after they are over. They follow you into quiet rooms, late nights, and unexpected memories, resurfacing when you least expect them. Throughout my life, I have experienced things I could not easily explain. Situations that frightened me, unsettled me, and sometimes left me questioning what was real and what could have possibly caused what I witnessed. Some happened in places that should have felt safe. Others happened when I was completely alone. And a few are experiences that still sends chills down my spine when spoke out loud.

For years, I kept many of these experiences to myself. Partly because I was afraid that people would not believe me. 

These are memories from different chapters of my life. Moments of unexplained sounds, disturbing dreams and encounters that have stayed with me long after they happened. I won't pretend to know what every experience means. I won't tell you that everything I encountered was paranormal. I can only tell you what happened, what I saw, how I felt and what I remember.

These are not stories I created to frighten you. They are experiences that happened to me, remembered as honestly as I can tell them. I have changed any identifying details where necessary, but the fear, confusion, and questions behind these experiences remain. Where you believe in the unexplained, the paranormal, coincidence, or simply the strange things life sometimes places in our path, I invite you to keep an open mind. 

You can decide for yourself what to believe.

Because these aren't ghost stories I heard from someone else.
