Contract -- construction -- termination of contract -- time. 1. A written contract, to publish in plaintiff's monthly trade journal defendant's advertisement of half a page at $160 for each issue, contained a provision by which either party could cancel or discontinue the same by giving the other ""three full calendar months"" notice in writing. Defendant mailed such notice to plaintiff July 29, 1931, of which plaintiff acknowledged receipt by letter dated July 31, 1931. It is held, there could be no recovery for advertisements published in the journal after October 31, 1931.
