This appeal arises from termination of the parental rights of birth parents pending adoption of their minor child by the appellees. We affirm termination of the mothers parental rights, because the record supports the trial courts finding that the mothers consent to adoption was valid and not obtained by fraud or duress. We affirm termination of the fathers parental rights, because the record supports the trial courts finding that the father abandoned the child by failing to establish his paternal rights in a prompt and timely manner.
