Rosalyn has been living in the countryside since her father’s death. At the age of twenty-seven, Rosalyn leads a happy life, despite the occasional talk of her being a spinster. One day, she meets a handsome, well-dressed gentleman named Damien, who has just moved into the house next door and who asks her to teach his student English etiquette and manners. Rosalyn is charmed by his devilish smile and gladly accepts his offer. But then she hears the disturbing rumor that Damien was involved in a murder!
