Instead, she finds Tariq, a gentle young man whose death has been ruled a suicide and tied up far too neatly. Certain he was murdered, Seka is determined to uncover the truth behind his death.

As she sinks deeper into the life of the mosque, Seka is drawn to its quiet devotion and to a sense of belonging she has long been missing.
