Ten years after filming the fan-favorite movie in charming Seafolly, S.C., the town is severely impacted by a hurricane, so the cast reunites to raise funds for its rebuilding. This brings Scarlett, now a bona fide Hollywood star, and Ryder, who struggled with addiction following their breakup but is now sober, back into close contact for a week. As the plot toggles between their whirlwind on-set romance and their present-day reunion, Scarlet struggles to reconcile the passionate, unpredictable Ryder she knew with the man she sees now: steady, solid, and still in love with her.
