Following a stipulated facts trial, defendant was convicted of two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree. ORS 165.022. He appeals, assigning error to the trial courts denial of his motion to suppress evidence--specifically, two forged documents--that he contends were the product of an illegal stop. We vacate and remand for further proceedings.
