Sten Ulvmand is a hardworking average man working hard to feed his family on the family ranch in Oklahoma. Though, he's not as average as the local community believes him to be. He comes from a long line of wolf shifters that hide in plain sight. But when violence shows up on his doorstep, the time for hiding is over. Sten will do whatever it takes to protect his family even if it means using his base nature to do so.

Freja swore to be by Sten's side through thick and thin. Loving a man that is also a wolf is just part of life. When their young son disappears though, she has no problem relying on her husband's wolf side to find him. But, she's not without her own secrets.
