Amazing story
This was a amazing mountain man romance. I loved everything about this book starting with the cover, I can’t remember ever feeling so strongly that a cover perfectly embodies a story as I feel this does. That is Axel getting out of the river looking at his little one.
The story started with Emelie in a tight spot and getting lost in the woods. But then she stumbled upon Axel. And her whole life changed in an instant. The chemistry between Emelie and Axel was out of this world and so were the steamy bits.
Axel had resigned himself to living alone in his cabin, he was sure that his height and build was too much for anyone to want him. His feeling that was a great way of making him seem real to me. He felt like a real person with scars and real feelings. I fell in love with him right along side with Emelie.
This story was a great start to the series and I for one cannot wait to read the rest of the series. I can’t imagine it being anything but great.
