Taking Action on Climate Change

This book is based on scenarios developed for the South African Department of Environment that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and form the basis for a national, long-term climate policy. The strategic options outlined in the book will enable South Africa to turn climate change mitigation into a pro-growth, pro-job and pro-development strategy for the future, and points the way for other developing countries.
