The Pearl of Great Price Gems

The Pearl of Great Price Gems is a book containing marvelous revelations and translations of spiritual truths and history which have been lost or kept from mankind for centuries. The text is identical to the book, The Pearl of Great Price, published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but is distinguished in its form by separating the different components of truth, history and revelations throughout the book, and giving each entry an identifying heading which is both bold and italicized. The idea is to consider each separate entry as though it was taken from a vast field of text, polished as a Gem, and given a title from which a reader may get the essence of the underlying text.

Not only does the content of the book give great insight into Adam and Eve’s relation with God in the Garden of Eden, but interesting insights about Satan, background history regarding Father Abraham, accounts of Moses interfacing with God, and significant history of the dealings of God the Father and His Son with the prophet Joseph Smith, and other angelic visitations in the early 1800s. The book then ends with an important letter the Prophet sent to a Mr. Wentworth, responding to a request of the fundamental teachings of the Church, giving a remarkable and succinct summary of its major points of faith.
