The Second Half - excellent and highly recommended
I have been a keen football fan all my life (Everton) seen many games in different countries and read many footballing histories and (auto)biographies. I have not read any that are as honest and soul searching as this. I urge anyone to read this book for the admissions of the personal turmoil, difficulties of handling it and the interactions with other people who may, or may not, have helped. The "mellowing" aspect towards the end is nice. Will be interesting to see whether it materializes. Never met Mr Keane, but this book makes me want to!
