The Vampire's Pirate

When two men are confronted by a would-be vampire queen, they must decide which is more dangerous: fighting for their freedom, or falling in love.

Dáire Malone has been a vampire for 200 years, much of that time in thrall to his powerful sire. Having won his freedom, he keeps his loyalty—and his heart—to himself.

Thomas Clifton is a pirate, or rather, a privateer. Cut off from his family and his past, Clifton's allegiance lies only with the man he sees in the mirror.

Both men are summoned to the home of a vampiress who declares herself their queen and commands them to pledge their fealty to her. Clifton's first impulse is to run, but Malone refuses to grant his fidelity to anyone, and he won't leave until they destroy the source of the vampiress's magic.

Malone's aura of mystery and his melancholic beauty make Clifton question his decision, even as Malone wrestles with his desires. Caught between opposing impulses, the men must choose: escape and leave the vampire queen in power, or stay and fight and risk losing everything they could have shared.
