Publisher Description
¶1. David Van Lanen, Richard Otradovec, and Buildtec, LLC, appeal a summary judgment declaring that Regent Insurance Company has no duty to defend Buildtec and Otradovec against Van Lanen's third-party complaint. The appellants contend the circuit court erroneously construed the complaint and therefore erroneously concluded Regent had no duty to defend. Regent, in advocating affirmance of the circuit court's decision, contends the economic loss doctrine precludes Van Lanen's claims.
