Under a Different Sky

Under a Different Sky presents a collection of short stories drawn from personal experiences and family histories about the trials and triumphs of migration and diaspora.

These stories feature historical and contemporary narratives—including convict journeys, a refugee choosing a new school, the restoration of a family farmhouse, a schoolyard cultural exchanges and flights to unfamiliar places.

This anthology explores the complex relationship between place and identity: how we are shaped by the landscapes we call home and what it means to live under a different sky.

Authors include Wendy Adams, Ruth Bonetti, Susan Booker, Jacqui du Toit, Rosanne Hawke, Lellie Lopter, Edita Mujkić, Laura Norris, Linsey Painter, R. A. Stephens, E. Tan, Elizabeth Terry, Richard Yaxley and Julia Yu.
