Won't Get Fooled Again

Natalie married young, and sadly, her divorce left her ruined and emotionally bankrupt. Struggling to get her life together she vowed she would never be used again, like her husband did. She reconnected with some of her friends from high school and Marsha stood out as someone she had missed the most. She realized she had feeling for Marsha, that were not Platonic. After their phone call they agreed to meet at Marsha's place.

Marsha and Natalie had had a brief encounter in high school that Natalie had completely forgotten about but soon learned that Marsha had cherished the experience all these years. At Marsha's, Natalie felt the years melt away and the feelings for Marsha roared back to the forefront. The evening was to be a few drinks at Marsha's then a night on the town.  However the impact of seeing each other, they never made it out of Marsha' house,  

The intensity of their reunion left Natalie expecting the two would resume where they left off in high school. But for reasons unknown to Natalie she didn't hear from Marsha for two weeks. Hurt by Marsha's snub, when she did reach out to Natalie she apologized, and went to Natalie's to mend her broken heart. Natalie made it clear she was hurt and Marsha vowed to never neglect her lover again. Still stinging from her divorce, she was wary of Marsha's promises. Wondering if she was overreacting, she forgot about it. But did Marsha?
