Behind the Veil

This world; all of its mystery and magic - its madness and grace - is rolling out before us like waves hitting the shore feverishly, frothing at the edge, waiting to take us under the surface and reveal to us all that is clumsily hidden and wedged at the bottom of itself like a gold shell, like a flame red diamond coral finger – thrilled at the thought of discovery. Life is a string of miracles that we practice our high wire act on, belief the balance that prevents us from slipping; and truth is not a light waiting to save us, no, it’s a bride’s veil waiting to be lifted.
