Blackbird and Other Stories

“Blackbird and Other Stories” is a collection of thirteen short stories featuring Kevin Markinson, veteran Marine sniper, mob troubleshooter, convicted felon, and family man. These stories range across Kevin’s life from his arrival home from Vietnam to his retirement in New Hampshire. Most are told from Kevin’s point of view, but there are a couple from other points of view. All of these stories have been previously published, either online or in print, or both. This collection brings them together in one place for the first time. These stories are an ideal companion to the Kevin Markinson series of novels, published by Barking Rain Press.
