Earth Bound

Her family’s magic slept for four hundred years…and now it’s beginning to awaken.

Isla Sawyer has spent eighteen months scraping by with a series of temp jobs, all while dealing with headaches no doctor can explain and flashes of places she’s never seen. A job in Sedona feels like her first real break…until the December morning when she wakes to find vines bursting through the floorboards and the multimillion-dollar estate she’s caretaking swallowed in impossible green.

Josh Wilcox has spent three years debunking TikTok psychics and YouTube ghost hunters, half convinced his clan has run out of orphan witches to find. Then a predawn alarm sends him racing down Oak Creek Canyon to the most powerful untrained witch he’s ever encountered. Her magic is raw, vast, and impossibly old. It’s unmistakably McAllister…except every McAllister witch was accounted for when the clan left Scotland generations ago.

Hidden away in a warded cabin high in the canyon, Josh is supposed to teach Isla how to control her newly awakened gifts. He isn’t supposed to kiss her…or feel the fire of a consort bond with a woman long past the age to share one.

And someone else found Isla first. Someone charming and patient, someone who’s been at her side since her first week in town, and whose clan has a very long memory.

Among Sedona’s red rocks, where no clan holds sway and magic never behaves the way it should, a legacy four centuries old is finally coming due.
