One Word is a children’s storybook that tells the story of Ellie, a mother with two lambs, Dave and Halyn. When Ellie learns she has cancer, her world is turned upside down as everything changes with one word spoken. 


Designed to help parents with the difficult task of telling their child they have cancer, One Word bridges the gap between what is going on in the life of the parent and child, and what the characters in the book are experiencing.The story shows what can happen when a parent has cancer and the importance that family, friends, and a child can have during this difficult time.
