Recruiting Love

Todd has recently joined the army and has been struggling to adjust to the new routine. While he was excited to serve his country, he found himself having night terrors that left him sleepless and anxious. One night, he woke up in a cold sweat, gasping for air. He sat up in his bunk, his heart racing. Jamie, who is his roommate at the base and sleeping in the bunk above him, heard Todd's panicked breathing and immediately woke up. He peeked down at him and saw the terror in his eyes. Without hesitation, he climbed down from his bunk and sat next to him. Jamie sat with him for a while, talking to him about anything and everything to distract him from his night terrors. After a while, Jamie noticed that Todd seemed to have fallen asleep. He gently tucked him in and climbed back into his own bunk. As the weeks went by, Todd and Jamie grew closer. They spent their free time together, exploring the base and getting to know each other better. Todd found himself falling for Jamie and Jamie found himself falling for Todd. There's only one problem standing in their way. Both aren't out as gay to their family and friends.
