When Sandy arrived as a foster child at age two-and-a-half, we were full of hope that a loving family and a little extra therapy could heal her rocky beginnings. Instead, her life slowly unraveled due to the brain damage of fetal alcohol exposure. SANDY MY NAME is the story of our family journey through difficulties that tore our lives apart, stripped away all of our assumptions, and in the end taught us unconditional love.
