"The Musicians of Bremen" starts with a donkey who has turned out to be old and weak and was not required by his owner. Before anything could happen he got away. He makes a plan to go to the town of Bremen and turn into a musician. As he ventures, he meets different animals. To begin with, he meets a dog who has turned out to be old, making it impossible to chase, at that point meets a cat who can not chase mice, lastly a cockerel who will be eaten. Every one of these creatures is persuaded by the donkey to go to Bremen and begin another life as musicians.
