Your Turn to Get the Donuts (A 15 Minute Romance Reader‪)‬

The infamous Friday donut run. How I hate it. The office meets every Friday morning for donuts. We each take our turns picking up the donuts. Today is my turn. It’s awful. My mouth drools at the delicious smells, but my diet forbids my eating one of those tempting sweet circles of calories and fat. It really should be illegal to have to smell donuts when you’re on a diet. But then, I’m always on a diet.

But the funniest thing happened when I went to get the donuts. I literally fell into Mr. Hardware. I finally was able to talk to the hunk that owned the Hardware store. Mr. Hardware saved me as I got out of my car and fell into a water filled pothole. It started there with awkward grins and smiles. Into the bakery we go, where I find that Mr. Hardware has a sister. And that sister is the person I know so well, the owner of the bakery.
