AA Book 2014

Descripción editorial

Welcome to the second edition of the swipeable, sortable and re-routable version of our annual and celebrated AA Book. Every June, on the opening night of its summer Projects Review exhibition, the AA School of Architecture releases something extraordinary: a 500-page anthology documenting the year in the life of the school. That this monster of a monograph is completed and delivered in bound, physical form, on the very day the school year draws to a close, is testament to the AA’s ability to seemingly warp time as well as space. This digital version further extends this mandate, and with it, the elegant, simple organisation of its paper-based predecessor is complemented with a layer or two of unexpected new material. It’s our hope that the AA Book ebook offers yet another way for you to enjoy something of the very same feeling many of us have here at the AA – of moving through the future of architecture in unexpected ways. Swipe, pinch, flick, enjoy. See you on the other side.
