As communication intercepts, dead terrorists, and institutional blindness lead the Wests 'five eyes' intelligence community to conclude an Islamic attack against mainland Europe is imminent, Wilson, a crotchety, 'old-school' intelligence analyst, has doubts.

When a cryptic voice message, left by a murdered British intelligence officer, points to a traitor deep in the core of England's domestic anti-terrorist organization MI5, Wilson's doubts intensify.

Unable to convince his superiors that something else is going on, Wilson has no choice but to go rouge.
