Defying the Odds: C.P. & Me

Defying the Odds offers five promises of hope:
Promise #1: You are going to ponder, laugh, cry and fall in love with an extraordinary woman who has let you into her brilliant mind and shares the depth of her soul.
Promise #2: You will realize that this anthology of poems is bigger than Gigi’s story; she is the voice of over 17 million people imprisoned by this illness. You will then think, shouldn’t all of us who can, do all we can to bring attention to this illness so that Gigi and millions of others can be set free?
Promise #3: You will wonder what greatness lies in so many others of our challenged brothers and sisters that we never took the time to even realize.
Promise #4: You will be inspired to do more with your “normal” gifts as you come to recognize that “normal” is someone else biggest hope and wish.
