Dreamcatcher is like Alice in Wonderland meets Speak with a dash of Lord of the Flies.

Twelve-year-old Dani Ash's (Dash) Native American grandmother makes her a dreamcatcher to escape her young life's nightmares. But no one expects the alternate universe that opens up to her, complete with increasing adventures: wicked storms, the undead, spellcasters, spirits, and shapeshifters.

Meanwhile, in reality, as Dash matures in fantasy, she learns to make friends in reality that cheer her onward to a life of pursuing passions and purpose. That is only if she overcomes the staggering obstacles set before her.
