When the Time Mechanix Crew answers a call for help, they expect a routine rescue of a stranded time machine and its missing Time Rider. Instead, they find themselves on Kotar—a silent planet two thousand years in the future, buried under endless white sand and scorched by three blazing suns, with no signs of life.

As the team searches for the Time Rider, they discover something strange: a fountain that promises eternal life. It claims to have already granted that gift to the missing Time Rider—and now it offers the same temptation to the crew.

When they are separated by a violent storm, one of the crew is left alone with the fountain. Soon, Dr. Watt - the team leader - uncovers the truth buried under Kotar's sands, and the crew must race against time to save their friend... before he pays the ultimate price.
