How Many? This is a very simple counting book. There are bears and you need to count and say how many. You turn it into a fun game. I can see a bear, how many can I see? You can say the incorrect amount and see if the child tells you the correct amount. The bears increase in number. There are random numbers of bears after the child has successfully counted to five. Repeat until the children correctly and confidently count the count number of bears. Remind the child continually that the last number you say telly you how many. Encourage the child to touch the bears until they can recognise by looking at the bears and correctly say how many bears.
