Ice Stock Sport

This book is an introduction to ice stock sport, a winter sport similar to curling, which is suited for both competitive league play and as a leisure activity for the whole family.  The book’s emphasis is on the sport as a leisure activity.  It is intended to provide the readers with sufficient knowledge to enable them to play and enjoy the sport.  


The book describes the basic rules, the playing field, and the equipment necessary to play the game. Pictures and diagrams are used to clarify complicated concepts and procedures. 


Ice stock sport, compared to other winter sports such as hockey, skiing, and curling, is a relatively inexpensive winter sport. It is also an easily learned sport that can be enjoyed by young and old.
