Reading all the Lime

Garnet Stone is ready to settle down with her boyfriend. She recently moved in with him, only to prepare his condo for sale. When she’s not prepping the place, she works at the used bookstore, organizing the overcrowded shelves and keeping her messy boss on track.

Her days are overbooked, and when her best friend Megan calls, Garnet rushes to meet her at Dessert Bar. The usually chill restaurant is a scene of chaos as a group of customers gets into a heated argument. One of them later drops dead after eating a lime bar. Megan is the top suspect, and Garnet has no choice but to add “sleuthing” to her already overflowing to-do list.

As Garnet and her gang sift through the clues, she discovers that the killer was after a very different kind of green. To make the investigation more zesty, Garnet’s father has been acting strangely. Can Garnet solve all the mysteries? Or will the killer order up a sweet escape?
