Scrum and Get It

I'm wrong for him. But when he touches me, everything feels oh-so right.

After my culinary career goes up in flames on national TV, I take the only job I can get—cooking for a pro rugby team in Dublin. It's supposed to be temporary.  Just long enough to pay off my mounting medical bills and figure out what the hell comes next.

When I meet Donal Casey, the team's hotshot hooker, he's exactly the kind of distraction I don't need—cocky, charming, and ten years younger.

But he's not just a pretty face with a filthy smile. He's kind. Grounded. Patient in a way that completely disarms me.

When he tells me he's never been with anyone before, I realize this thing between us isn't casual for him. That maybe it never was.

Because the way he looks at me, as if he really sees me? If I'm not careful, I might start to believe I'm allowed to want him, too.
