Strange Animals

Strange animals are everywhere... if you know where to look

Something strange is happening to Green. One moment he was about to be hit by a bus- the next, he's miraculously still alive. A five-foot-tall crow watches him from atop a street sign, unseen by everyone except Green.

Desperate for answers and beset by visions of impossible creatures, Green travels to the mountains, where he meets a centuries-old teacher and begins a fantastical apprenticeship. He studies the time-bending rag moth, the glass fawn and the menacing horned wolf. He begins to see nature's beauty and befriend fellow misfits, and along the way, he finds clues about his new abilities. But Green's new happiness may be short-lived, because among these marvels lurks a deadly, terrifying threat to this place he's already come to love...
