#Thank Goodness for Tohoku

It is a photo book of nature in the northeastern region of Japan.

On 11th March 2011 at exactly 14:48:18, a magnitude 9 earthquake, the strongest ever recorded near Japan, occurred off the coast of Miyagi Prefecture in the Tohoku(northeastern)region.

We have lost a lot of things and people by the tsunami.

Even now, the tough situation continues.

But,Tohoku nature is a very beautiful place.

And Tohoku nature had taught me a lot of things.

I would like for you to travel through the areas in the Tohoku region which are not shown in guidebooks and experience it through your 5 senses. People are living in a world full of severe limitations, but the nature in Tohoku teaches us that a harmonious world is not impossible if everyone’s hands are put together.

I hope that many people will visit  Tohoku.
